Welcome to the music industry, this is a lot more common than you think. Same thing happened to BC Jean when Beyoncé snatched her song If I Were A Boy from her without knowing.

That really sucks for her, especially since she's been branding her entire era under that title. Kind of a dick move on Rihanna's part, but that's how this industry works. Not much to do about it
That's the worst part tbh. Like, she won't even get her coins from royalty checks.
!!! I was hoping she would leave her name on the credits and then the song (hopefully) blows up and she earns royalties and becomes more popular through songwriting maybe as a side job.. but there is NOTHING she's going to gain from this.
