It's because of all the racism in the gay community. Asian and Black gays not only take rejection from their families, but from their own community. It's sad.

Maybe consider the community they're in? It's not just ONE factor that leads to suicide. Love how y'all love to scream about homophobia in the black community but not racism in the gay community. They're both problems

What do you mean 'y'all'??

I am a Hispanic Gay person. And the rejection I may get because I am a minority gay is in no way worse than been rejected by your own family. I found good supportive gay friends of different races and backgrounds. I was rejected by my family for a few years after I came out and that was depressing as ****... I am glad that my parents and my sibling are ok with me now. I can't speak highly for some other of my relatives thought.

But I care way more what my family thinks of me first and is very important than what some 'White Gay' thinks of me because of his 'preference'.

Ok, I have no idea how that feels since I'm not gay so I'll take your word for it.
But it's not about 'what some white gay thinks of me' being rejected because of your skin colour hurts either way. And you didn't have to point out the black British community alone that's my point

They are tbh, in general many tend to be very religious and (as a result?) homophobic. This is probably the same situation with Muslim-Asian gays but they're probably less likely to come out in the first place cause they know the backlash will be bad.

Gay men need to have a voice to let people know that's it's okay to be you. Just because they're men doesn't mean that gay people don't face constant **** from society. Homo's from minority backgrounds get so much **** just for who they are.

Gay men of color probably struggle with depression and self harm more because they also have to deal with racism, both within the gay community and in their lives in general. Dealing with homophobia as well as racism that attacks you from all angles can't be easy. Whereas white gay men only have to deal with homophobia from the straight community, but are praised within their own gay community as the standard of beauty

This, honestly. It's really sad to say this, but racism is even worse within the LGBT community
