Posted about that in the Always single thread. Didn't know this one was still open.

I doubt S Gibbs (which the song is registered under) is Salaam Gibbs, it's most likely Samantha herself. Her full name is Samantha Jade Gibbs and sometimes her songs are registered as "JADE S", sometimes they're registered as "GIBBS S".

I think she should let "Always" have its run from Feb-April, release "Show Me Love" in May with a dark sexy vid (think Firestarter, but better). It could definitely be a radio hit. Then release "Let The Good Times Roll" as the fourth single in August with a live performance on an X Factor results show, just Samantha and a piano (similar to Kelly's Piece by Piece performance) and remind everyone why she won X Factor in the first place and just stun with beauty, emotion and a powerful voice.

Even if Always + Show Me Love underperform, that would almost certainly send the song flying up the iTunes charts and maybe even help Nine's sales too. I tweeted my plan to Samantha and got a few likes/retweets too, hope she sees it!

I agree on Let The Good Times Roll for the ballad choice around winter aus release. And yes a nice simple performance. Her in a beautiful dress. wow

Just an update on that "new song" Curious, I checked out her BMI (where its also registered) and its code is very old. So I don't think it's for a Nine reissue.

The album is back in the Top 20 ARIA Australian Artists Albums chart this week. 3rd week on the chart overall. Album seller!

I decided to create a full cover set for this amazing album. The 'Nine' photoshoot was stunning. Every song has honestly grown to slay me, I'm so glad it wasn't a disappointment after ~3 years of waiting.





I wanted to keep things simple so I didn't over-edit anything, but I also wanted to tie the covers in with the dark black and pink theme of the album cover, as well as the bright white and pink single covers of "Shake That" and "Always". Hope the ATRL Samanstars (still cringing at the name tbh )) like 'em.

Confirmation from three days ago that a 'Nine' deluxe reissue is currently in the works.

So it looks like all of the music she's been working on might end up on the reissue rather than the third album. Maybe she's working on both? She also confirmed in March that 'Nine' was set to have "at least" two more singles, so we could definitely be looking at an era like Jessica Mauboy's 'Beautiful' with four singles from the main album and two from the reissue. I'd be so happy with this pattern.
