This is probably true. As someone else mentioned, she released "Single Ladies" after she'd already married Jay. Although Beyoncé does have writing credits on most of her songs, she's not known for writing music that is particularly autobiographical like Adele or Taylor Swift or some of the other pop girls. But she also doesn't have to be. She releases songs with powerful messages. I've always loved artists that tell their own stories through their music; it seems more authentic and relatable. But regardless of whether or not this story is true, Beyoncé told a damn good one, 'cause Lemonade freaking SLAYS.

Literally every single person on here and twitter during the premiere was talking/speculating/joking about Beyonce and Jay-Z's relationship and how she was putting it on blast, etc.

And now it's 100% false and complete fiction and we're all idiots for thinking maybe she was telling an honest story about herself. You're all very transparent.

Anyone that thinks Jay was not aware of every development on the album is dumb. Obviously he knew everything but Beyoncé doesn't need his permission to write about their relationship. The album would've been out with or without Tidal so he was just smart to capitalize on the event.

Its a film not a documentary. Beyoncé will never tell you if Jay cheated or not so take it as you will
