And just as an added bonus, the plantation she filmed at for B'day, Oak Alley Plantation, was built by my great great grandfather before the Civil War

The oshun reference is clear with the water scene and few other scenes from hold up. The oshun is story is also kinda intresting cos I read the oshun spirit chose a white woman who visited Nigeria with her Nigeria husband and she fell in love with the culture and stayed back and she was an intermediary between the gods and the people. Sorry there is a part of me that is from Nigeria and i just wanted to share with y'all.

based off the media reactions over the snub...i think Lemonade has a strong chance of being nominated again as a way to "make up" for the upset. but at the same time....i see it playing out just like it did for Kendrick who was in a similar position...they'll give it to Adele AGAIN ala Taylor. so i'm over it.
