A singles rate would be wise. There's about 58 singles between them, so we'd have a good shot at making it work (if we can avoid the top tier being Melanie C-heavy).

And nooo way would I agree to hosting this one. I've learned from the last cycle that mama ain't cut out for that kind of responsibility. I'm sure we'd be able to recruit someone more charismatic (and time-conscious ).

Looking back at some of these rates that happened back in mid last year, i'm a bit saddened to have missed some of them. Especially the 2010 rate

The audience has spoken. Obviously any album with a 94 Metacritic average will be saved for This WAS 2016.

Also, TW2015 and TW2014 (not to mention both parts of 2010) were HITS - so not just for "snobs."

Why does it bother you so if there is an audidnce of ATRLers, generally the people who host and participate in rates in the first place, who want to do acclaimed music rates? Why are you trying to decide there can't be both? Explain please.

Why don't we just allow Lemonade to be used both in TW2016 and the 2016 edition of supa's pop girl rate?

We should be more flexible with the "albums can only be used once" rule tbh, if the album fits nicely in both rates I don't see why not.

It's a miracle she won the 2013 one and even then it's only because it was new. She would be sabotaged by other bases but that sabotage doesn't exist nearly as much in rates with more unknown music. It does happen of course but it isn't petty like the Stan war ones.
