TARGET infamously decided not to sell "Self-Titled" after the surprise digital release - and until this day - it was only released online.

With the release date being May 6th, I wonder how large Beyonce plans on making her physical release.

Probably not. But it would be a brilliant strategy for artists to release digitially first, then wait a week or two to release physically with extra tracks. It would make it seem like two separate releases in one month, push sales, and help with longevity.

But with the 2 week wait, Beyonce may have something in store. Copies for "Self Titled" were shipped immediately upon the digital release. We just have to wait and see.
