It's weird that he's so bothered by something that has NOTHING to do with him.

It's OK to like an artist's earlier music but the reasons why he dislikes the new music are.....not good. Beyonce has the right to make any kind of statement with her music. At the end of the day it's just an opinion, not everyone's going to like it

See, this is exactly why an album like Lemonade needs to exist. It stands in the face of the comfortable and privileged, who only like those inconsequential to them, and says "hey". If anything, his dumb ass only justified the album even more. Piers is a prime example of somebody who wants the minority silenced unless what they have to say furthers his agenda. **** him.

She sings about the frustration but never speaks about it in context.. Its for mainstream gain through controversy but he kind of makes a good point, it would be nice if she would back up her strategically crafted lyrics and casually have a conversation about what she really thinks. There is a reason she doesnt do interviews, Like if she talks she'll look kind of confused and wont speak eloquently. In this case less is more i supppose but again it would be nice for her to speak on it not just let her and the writers craft the idea for her.

Why does she really need to do interviews, though? The music speaks for itself. Her dissenters never have any backing for their claims against her. For example, how are her messages out of context? They are set in the context of her life, which we are all very familiar with. She one of the biggest names in the world. It's been that way for a while now. If you don't get where she's coming from, it's probably because you don't like her for whatever reason or simply don't pay enough attention. And the cynical claims that this era and piece of art are being used for capital gains are hardly worth addressing. There's no evidence to support that. It's time we as a people accept this woman for the cultural and musical juggernaut she is and stop trying to poke holes in an impenetrable career.
