Probably because Kesha probably has the ability to feature on songs? I'm guessing?
Jack probably won't have the platform to release with a ft Kesha.
Kesha was able to join a band because it wasn't in Kesha's name. Also, I think Zedd doesn't even have to ft Kesha on the song. She can be like Avicii, and just remain uncredited.
