Story
Final Fantasy VII follows the story of mercenary Cloud Strife, who is hired by the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE—led by Barret Wallace—to help fight the mega-corporation Shinra Electric Power Company, who attempts to drain the planet's lifeblood as an energy source to further their profits. Apathetic to the cause, Cloud initially fights for personal gain, and for the promise he made to childhood friend Tifa Lockhart. Cloud eventually joins forces with many others to save the planet, which is threatened by Shinra and Cloud's nemesis Sephiroth, and discovers a reason to fight for a cause other than his own.
I am looking more forward to this than XV, though I know that I will love both.

This is something they should have said months ago when people were panicking about the game being in parts.
Thank God it isn't episodic, I was worried. But who perspectives will it be told from? I'm not well versed in VII universe, tbh.
There's Tifa and Barret who are with the protagonist during the whole game.
I think Tifa might be a given and it could be done really well with the childhood friend stuff. And then the Scarlet confrontation when they slap the **** out of each other
Looking forward to this. I'm sure the battle system will be trash, though.
The whole old turn base system will not work on this type real time game. That will ruin the mood, I'm pretty satisfied when they decide to merge the best of real time and turn base system into one.
