I'm just happy that the Republican convention is first, because the **** show will be over a bit sooner and we'll know who the nominee is, and because Hillary will be able to choose her VP the next week in response to whoever ends up being on the GOP ticket. She'll choose Sherrod Brown if it's Kasich or if he's on the ticket, if Rubio ends up being the GOP VP candidate, you can be sure she'll choose Perez or Castro. If it's Trump in the end, she'll have a lot more freedom in choosing, though.
The GOP Convention is going to be the messiest event in U.S. politics in decades.
God help the GOP if Trump enters the convention only a few delegates short and doesn't leave the nominee.
It will be legendary.
hmm actually I saw something about one of the conventions where this actually happened in the 60s and it was bad. really bad. The protests, riots, gas bombs and injuries were scary

hey, will someone let me know if it's safe for me to listen to #LEMONADE? #sarcasmfilter
At this point, Trump's pretty much not going to win the nomination. He'll run as an independent and will take most of the GOP base with him. It will basically be Hillary/Bernie vs Trump (or even Hillary vs Bernie vs Trump if Bernie decides to run as an independent). Trump could be our second independent President after Washington. I'd say Bernie could but he won't win as an independent since the Democratic base is too divided or leans toward Hillary.
I want to see Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, Cruz, Kasich, the people at the National Review, Megan Kelly, etc. All their faces when Trump wins. So much vindication.
