Heidi Montag isn't the greatest singer, but, that doesn't mean she doesn't make nice music to listen to. The 20-something reality star, turned singer, has just released her debut album, Superficial, after the September 2009 release was pushed back.

Mostly fused with Electro-pop dance music, Heidi sets of the record with the club-banging "Look How I'm Doin'," which is probably the best song off the record. In a line she sings, "Remember when I first turned 16, said you were gonna leave me in the city of dreams....." But, other songs are just way too overproduced, like "More Is More," "One More Drink," and "Blackout."

With that being said, her album is a "solid" pop effort. Most of the songs are pretty listenable, and I'm sure Dance/Pop music lovers should enjoy this, somewhat.

I find Heidi's music, as horribly over-produced and manipulated as it may be, more enjoyable than about 65% of the stuff being released by other pop musicians right now. The production value on some of these songs is pretty incredible.

there are no decent melodies or singing, just lots of beeping

I can not help but think with proper promotion and a pretty decent music video, Turn Ya Head could do well. No matter how over auto-tuned it is lol
