The teacher was black. So i think i'm ok with this whole situation.
The kid was super disrespectful (even tho he went a little crazy with the violence)
If the teacher were white i'd probably be angry. Being honest!
I don't feel sorry for either of them (the TA or the student)
First, the teacher's aide is ALL THE WAY WRONG for trying to put a student in a chokehold. You are in a professional setting, therefore, you're supposed to maintain your composure when situations like this occur, NOT wrestling with the kid like you're on WWE Smackdown. If push comes to shove, you let the administrators or school resource officer deal with the child. It was also unprofessional, and totally out of line that he had to use the N-word in such manner. You are a grown adult in a high school classroom with 20-30 (immature) minors! You shouldn't be using any racial slurs at all, especially if it isn't anywhere near your curriculum. Very disappointing tbh.
As for the child, I'm not letting his ass slide either. Where in the hell are this kid's parents, because they obviously dropped the ball on this one. Some of these teenagers today are just way too damn DISRESPECTFUL, and it amazes me that some people continue to make excuses for it, and let it slide.
He ended up being attitudinal with the wrong person, and he got his little bad ass put in line. You don't mouth off to every adult and expect them to stay calm 100% of the time; It just isn't possible. You're at school to get an education, not to talk back or be the class clown. If he continues down this path, the he'll end up messing with the wrong person, and the consequences could be worse.
