On the MuchMoreMusic interview in Toronto, Prince was making a hint that Britney Spears approached him and told him how much he inspired her and how great he is. And he rolled his eyes after saying it.
Then he went on to saying that he's honored when people say they've been inspired by him, when they actually have talent.
Well she just said it to him just to say something. It clearly wasn't true, and King Prince saw right through her. It's like when she use to say her main inspiration was Whitney when she isn't a vocalist.
As much of an impact as Britney has had, she's not really talented tbh. She had/has a great work ethic when she cares but she really lucked out and became the superstar she is today. Being white, blonde, American helped too.
I definitely remember him being shady during that interview.
