!!!! Yeah this is ridiculous. Here in America, you could kill someone and find a loophole to get out less than 10 years. The hell????

I don't get why... I get it's stealing, but stealing a song/movie is like stealing an album/dvd in the store. You don't get 10 years for that either.. smh

Movies, TV shows, games, books and animes, not just music.

I feel like they're missing the point. No one is sat at home thinking "Meh, I'll only get 2 years in jail if I download this album, if it was 10 years I'd probably not risk it, but it's definitely worth 2 years". Maybe work on actually catching and charging people with the crime before wondering why people aren't afraid.

It's not that serious. Distributing stolen material maybe, but downloading doesn't deserve ten years

It's a maximum of 10 years. If it's a crime like illegally downloading some music you'd probably get 6 months and a fine or something like that. 10 years would probably be for the most serious things.

Beyonce is behind this. She doesnt want anyone illegally downloading "Lemonade"

They've been saying this kind of thing for years. They made it illegal to rip CD's on iTunes or something last year. Does anyone give a ****? No. Do they do anything about it? No. Moving on with our lives.

I guess it better to just straight up go to the store and steal the album
