It's surprising because it's more expensive (and it's known that white people are generally richer than black people), but I think it's down to a combination of the fact that a lot of R&B/hip hop artists promote TIDAL and black people wanting to help a black businessman.

Yeah, the point of the article is to show that Tidal is more popular by blacks compared to other races. Nothing to do with overall popularity. Perhaps you should work on your understanding skills.

It's 3 am here and I'm pretty tired so don't expect much tho I think it's really inaccurate to compare even ️in percent that , like... Spotify is really huge compared to TIDAL... Like black people alone that are using Spotify are many times more than the total number of tidal users

that's their main demographic, in a way.

most of their "exclusives" are by Hip-Hop artists, a genre that (as of right now) is mostly listened by black people.
