I don't know if I like the idea of Billboard exclusively partnering with a streaming service on its website.
I realize they already have streaming links on their site and everything and Spotify is the most widely used streaming service, but it just seems like a little bit of conflict of interest to outright partner with a streaming service and create several charts for just Spotify driven data (Spotify is already upfront about that on their site).
Quote:
"As the world's largest streaming music service, it's exciting to partner with a highly influential music brand like Billboard to help expand its chart offerings," says Spotify chief strategy officer/chief content officer Stefan Blom. "We're pleased to offer passionate music fans the ability to listen to hundreds of artists on the Billboard charts alongside new content, powered exclusively by Spotify."

Billboard is very influential in pop music, and incorporates streaming data from every source as it should, but it doesn't seem right for it to be giving its implied endorsement (through a partnership) to a streaming service to me.
Good for Spotify though.
