My mom, before I started working out I was really thin, still am but bigger now.
I remember there was some left over food in the fridge and I was like 'Can I Have Some?' Cause it was hers, she was like 'Please eat and gain some weight'

My mom is at times. As far as my father goes, I'm not sure if he's that way on a daily basis, but I'll always remember a situation that happened when I was 14. I went on a business trip with him for a week. I had been working my ass off for hours upon hours the entire trip, lifting and moving heavy things; but there's only so much a scrawny 14 year old can do, and I started to feel exhausted towards the end of the trip. I never complained, but I guess my facial expressions said it all, because my dad decided to throw shade/clown me with his coworker and said, "these kids always want something, but don't want to work for it." He knew that wasn't true in my case, and he was the last person I ever asked for anything; but I still felt humiliated. I didn't talk to him for like 4 years

I know, that sounds a bit extra but that was just my breaking point. There were a combination of things that that led to me making that decision

Yes.
Yesterday, I was talking to my Mum about Prince and she said, "I liked some of his music, but I never really liked him. I always thought he was a little weird." I replied, "You never seem to like unique and weird personalities. I'm surprised you like me since I'd say I'm quite weird." She responded, "I wouldn't if you weren't my son. As it goes, you are, and so I'm obliged."

Well at our most recent thanksgiving dinner my mom tried slipping in small pieces of fish in my older sisters (28) stuffing knowing damn well she's allergic to that **** and almost died a few years back when she ate it by accident.
When we asked what the actual **** she was doing my mom just said "Oop, I forgot"
My sister then proceeded to tell our other family members that our mom is losing her mind because of old age thats when they starting throwing light shade at each other. My mom asked my sister where her dad was (we have different dads) knowing full well that he abandoned her when she was 12
My sister wasn't having any of it though she just said "I mean you were his baby mama at the time, I wouldn't have came back either if I had to look at you every morning"
Our 4th of July cookout is going to be a mess
