I don't understand why you can't just keep it in your pocket till then. It's not like it's a smelly garbage all of a sudden.

I use to when I was younger, not understanding and being naive. However, I haven't and I hate people who do, and saying that... My mum does it and it drives me crazy. We'll be walking down the street and she'll leave her can of drink she just bought, on a wall, or she'll drop her packet of crisps onto the side of the street.

I'll be telling her, "Don't do that, just wait for a bin, there's one right up there, we're going to walk by it!!!" - Sometimes she'll listen, other times she won't. I just, I find it so embarrassing, like stop it! Hold on to it, put it in your pocket, just be patient and wait for a bloody bin.
