It's not. It keeps the PS4 up to date, providing better performance. But that doesn't mean PS4K games wont work on PS4. It's for people who want more. Most people upgrade PC's every 3 years, why can't you do that with consoles?

They already said that there will be NO exclusive for the NEO version. Every game from now on will come with standard and neo mode. The latter provides only better graphics. No exclusive features, no another bonuses, no nothing.

The graphics won't be that huge of an upgrade, right? I recently upgraded my PS4 with a 2TB hard drive and don't feel like buying another one.

It's going from 1080p to 4k. Plus it'll probably be easier to get a constant 60FPS on the PS4k.
