Bey is Black, so of course she's going to say Black Lives Matter, and the term Black Lives Matter doesn't mean that other races, or situations don't. It's just a term that Black People should be treated equal too.

lmao how absurd
_______________
Beyoncé is like the feminists of 1900's-1930's: only rights that matter were those of white middle class women. Beyoncé cares about black rights because they are her rights

How comfortable of her to seat back and dictate what issue another person should fight or speak on, beyonce is a black woman that has been speaking on issues affecting her race and her as a woman yet people still call her obnoxious, disingenuous and using these movements for self propagation.

MIA IS actively speaking about the problem, she is in fact one of a very few artists doing it right now.
Beyonce is just trying to be politically correct and this is too controversial for her safe image, because BLM is an issue commonly supported by most and people are used to the topic, just like gay rights, while islamophobia is the new thing around the world and people are far less comfortable talking about it.

Beyoncé don't even care about all black lives she only cares about African American lives.
Anyway so muslims are not a part of the black community? So don't claim Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Janet Jackson etc.

Lol what?
MIA is not muslim and is not from Middle East either. Its not "her" race.
MIA is just saying that most stars with platforms to speak ignore the issue that really needs support, the biggest humanitarian tragedy since WWII is happening right now in the world, yet stars who can bring more awareness to it keep being silent and everybody behaves like its not our problem, while the reality is that it affects almost the whole world.

Please. The nerve of her.
Why gives her the right to dictate what people should speak on? And what gives her the right to act like black lives get supported? Why aren't most of those cops in prison?
People always ask too much of Beyoncé. She will speak on what she wants to speak on and when she wants to and you'll deal with that.
What about gays right? What about Kesha's trial? What about muslims?
It's like black people can never have something before someone steps in saying : you guys don't have it that bad! Talk about jews instead. **** her.

Yes she does.
Not that hashtag twitter movement itself, but she supports black people around the world in general, yes, and did several songs touching what hardships black people have to face, especially in Africa.

Why lessen the importance of one issue to raise awareness for another one?

No, she did not.
She said the only problem you're "allowed" to talk about in America is BLM. This is a lie. As people have stated, blacks are aggressive in getting their voices heard over the noise and those trying to silence them. Let's not forget the constant opposition and vitriol that BLM gets EVERY SINGLE DAY. Ain't no damn "allowed".
Black people are not the oppression mule. It is not up to us to carry the burdens of every oppressed group, which is exactly what she was contributing to by naming Beyonce and Kendrick. There are far more powerful people than Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar who can bring awareness to these issues.
Not to mention she lessened the importance of BLM with her "that's a more interesting question" statement. The nerve. Black people in America are seeing our own being killed right outside our doors, our streets, in our neighborhoods, being harassed and mistreated by those in power, being deprived of things that the majority are getting for no reason, and it would be "more interesting" to champion a cause on the other side of the world? K.
Everyone wants black people to speak up and champion every cause, but will never do the same for black people. Nah. Make your voice heard. Shout shout shout shout shout. Scream. Yell it from the rooftops. Go tell it on the mountain. Make your voice known.

Then she should go and call out those with far more power and clout, instead of referring to two black artists who are fighting for black lives.

So what? So people shouldn't talk about what concerns them?
Wow let's burn MLK, Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Mandela, Malcom X at the stake then.
Thank God black people speak about their rights, watch movies with black people because the rest of the word sure doesn'tcare.
It's been décades since Lauryn Hill (as she ignorantly put) and 11 y.o black kids are still gun down by cops and they walk away freely, young black women are still being murdered freely by cops. But oh blacks shouldn't talk about that, they should care about muslims, that's what's really important.
The nerve of some if you. Our rights are never anything to you. Oh blacklivesmatter is supported. By who?

So why aren't major Muslim celebrities being attacked for not speaking loud enough? Why didn't she attack Zayn instead?
Why is it expected that black celebrities have to speak for everyone? Why do they have to speak for Hispanics, Asians and now Muslims?
When those same groups don't care about blacks themselves? You expect blacks to speak for them, but they don't have an issue with calling blacks monkey's. Okay.

!!!! I mean the nerve. I am properly appalled by her and I am a long time fan. The only people who can support that stupid narrative are narrow white people or Bey's or Kendrick's haters. To take two of the biggest black stars out right now who talk about our rights now and tell them, that's outdated and less important than Muslimslivesmatter, so get on with the program.
