Scotland's ILGA score is higher than Englands, Northern Irelands is much lower than both. ILGA Europe gives out an average for the UK. Scotland is still an separate country so this is still factual..

This is about legislative rights though, not just marriage, or how a country feels. Its about trans protections, intersex protections, asylum laws, adoption rights, hate speech laws.

Not surprised. When I visited Scotland, my then-boyfriend and I felt extremely comfortable. Nobody gave a **** what or who you were.
