Hillary is definitely a strong candidate, though anything but that type of win would have been embarrassing; it's her home state (in politics, it's the state you represent) - Bernie ran a great campaign in NY, but couldn't crack the Clinton firewall in her own state, expected. Let's not forget he won a resounding victory in his home state, where the Secretary received less than 20% of the vote. Unfortunately for him though, Vermont doesn't award many delegates to the convention like NY does, and all the upcoming states favor Clinton minus Oregon. Her solid win in NY will only help expand her lead in those diverse and relatively high-income states.
