lol what? It's not academic elitism, AP classes are just free college-level classes that are offered to high school students. Plus, it's almost mandatory to take AP classes if you want to get accepted to and attend a prestigious university. Nobody really rubs it in your face if you take AP classes. And I've never heard anyone brag because they can do calculus. Everyone I know hates it.
