Plot in Zexal?? Hahahah yeah, like 20 episodes of plot and 80 of FILLER, with Tomato men, Football boy, building car kid, etc etc...

Zexal was 90% filler, let's not.

Arc-V, on the other hand, has literally NOT A SINGLE FILLER EPISODE, all of them are important to the plot, even the episode 100 with the flashbacks, even that episode contained plot. That's where we found out why Arc-V is called like that, thanks to the Arc Area Project from Academia.
We can now assume that the "V" stands for the 5th dimension, or Utopia, that Leo is trying to create OR that there's already a 5 dimension that will be the final boss.

DM is fun but as you said, I cringe most of the time cuz how they play the game.
They literally break all the rules, like Spell Cards in opponent's turns and lots of **** that ain't right.
That's the reason it's kinda difficult to watch it tbh.

I bought the entire collection of the original yugioh DM anime on DVD last night (includes Capsule Monsters). It was really cheap so I'm hoping its legit

Think I'm gonna play Falsebound Kingdom today.

So I decided to play Falsebound Kingdom on a new memory card, so I'm starting from scratch (which I prefer. I don't like how the monsters up levels each time you play through it. Wish there was a setting for that tbh). I decided to go with Kaiba coz I always start with Yugi and felt like changing and being the anti-heros instead of the heros. I've just reached Chapter 7 and my party is:

Kaiba (Lv15) - Ryu-Kishin Powered (Lv15), Crawling Dragon (Lv17), Hitotsu-Me Giant (Lv17)
Pegasus (Lv13) - Shadow Ghoul (Lv15), Bickuribox (Lv15), Parrot Dragon (Lv14)
Mokuba (Lv13) - The Snake Hair (Lv11), Berfomet (Lv12), Water Girl (Lv14)
Weevil (Lv13) - Armored Lizard (Lv19), Hercules Beetle (Lv16), Big Insect (Lv16)
Rex (Lv7) - Megazowler (Lv6), Two-Headed King Rex (Lv7), Uraby (Lv4)

Never realised how good Weevil is before now. I usually just carry over monsters from the Yugi story, and its interesting using the Kaiba monsters instead; especially coz I'll get PU Great Moth, and Insect Queen later. Having just unlocked Rex, he's underlevelled, so I'm gonna use this battle to try and level him up. In Chapter 8, I can get water attribute monsters, so Mokuba has the perfect affinity for those and will probably use them alongside Water Girl. I do have Bonz and Labrinth Ruler but decided I won't use them coz I don't want to split EXP with them and be underlevelled. Gonna try and get the infamous moisture creature in this battle (and Garoozis as well).

Yami Yugi and the Dark Magician... I would literally print out pictures of them back when I got my first computer with a printer, and I would kiss the **** out of it before I went to bed, hoping one day I'd see them IRL.


I got so hot over those two in the show, **** sake. You can't make that **** up, I cry knowing I remember this part of my life so strongly.

Kaiba's starting to suck. He's overlevelled and is still the least useful member of my team (cept Mokuba, who isn't even on the team rn coz he just got kidnapped again.). Weevil, Rex and Pegasus are all far more useful rn. Only three more chapters till I get Blue Eyes x3 tho.

Oh, I don't like those kind of games.

Yeah I know. Instead, you'll continue to buy the same re-iteration of the same card game with a few new broken OP cards which make it even less fun to play. Although, I admit, I probably buy them all too, and will buy the one out this year if it comes west, but like Duel Carnival, I'll probably play it for one day and never touch it again.

(Also, how don't you like the games, when Falsebound Kingdom is v similar to Pokemon)

I know, I said it before. But I'd like them to do something that doesn't involve the card game again; or something that makes it a focus but not the only focus. Wheelie Breakers was kinda fun ngl (even tho, I was horrible at it). Or at least change the rules of the card game like in Duelist of the Roses (pls, not another Reshef of Destruction though. That was horrible). I think for the next anniversary, they should take us back to Duelist Kingdom, come up with a concrete rule set for dueling based on those rules, and release a game on it. Also, if they were feeling adventurous, they could allow you to play as any of the characters (Yugi, Joey, Mai, Weevil, Rex, Mako, Bonz or Bandit Keith) and have a story where you progress through Duelist Kingdom, and then when you finish, you unlock Kaiba and Pegasus for a special bonus story episode, (and I guess unlock the decks of the others; cards based on Tea, Tristan, Bakura and the eliminators like Panik). This would slay

Ok, enough dreaming. Meanwhile, I got beat at Chapter 11. I was so close to winning (like two more battles), but the final enemy snuck by my castle and went for my main camp which wasn't defended coz I was using weevil to train
