Are we talking about the same album?
- Born this Way single was radio-ready inspirational schmuck that littered the radio at that time.
- Judas uses the exact same melody as her biggest hit single.
- This release and promo leading up to the albums release was massive.
- Gaga catered to pop music fans and the gays, who were her main fanbase at the time.
- They sold the album for 1$.
How is any of that a risk? or "nothing really commercial"?
Edge of Glory, Marry the Night? Using Madonna & Whitney as inspriation? "not mainstream"?
