She might've asked Max to give her songs that sounded more mature afterwards, which resulted in DW but still, even that wouldn't change the fact that most of the album was done before Focus tanked.

I don't think she scrapped it either, probably just recorded a few more songs. However, fi Focus was a #1 smash then we'd probably have gotten the album by February.
