Silent Hills was a cancelled survival horror video game that was under development by Kojima Productions for PlayStation 4. Directed by Hideo Kojima, in collaboration with film director Guillermo del Toro, it was to be the ninth installment in the Silent Hill series.

There are rumors about a new Silent Hill movie named Silent Hill : Genesis supposedly to come out sometime in 2017

I'm so fascinated by the whole Silent Hill universe. I never played any of the games though

Try starting with 3 , it's the most easiest to get into the series imo (at least, I started getting into SH because of that game besides being horror , it was also a bit fun cuz of the main character)

I stopped at the part in 2 where I keep navigating through the fog, so tedious. I want to continue this though, I've had the 2/3 Anniversary pack sitting around for ages now

I just finished SH2 again this friday and got for the 3rd time in a row the Leave ending

I know, I stupidly deleted it from my library and can't play it ever again

I think there might be the game uploaded on the Internet , I think... Not sure if it would work on PS4 tho
Also , there are some fan-made games which look pretty much the same as P.T., tho , I dunno if they are like or feel like the original P.T.

I'd recommend you to play the original game (there is for PC too and I guess for other platforms as well) or the Director's cut which includes Maria's game as well) 'cause from what I heard, the HD Collection (if that's the one you have) is pretty much a pain to play

Oh yeah, if you want to ask me anything about Silent Hill, you can freely do it since I've been reading pretty much lately into them (so far into the first 3 games the most, started with The Room days ago)

That'd be ideal if only I had a PC anymore Yeah idk how drastic the PS3 rereleases deviate from the original but so far it hasn't been as fun as I'd expected. I'm trying to finish Sleeping Dogs first before I go back to SH, Mirror's Edge, and Heavy Rain (all unplayed basically ).

There aren't any drastical changes , besides the voice acting and some minor details as lighting , fogness + more glitches and stuff
Well, the dev team who worked on this HD Collection started with a demo prototype or something from SH2

6 (if you are referring to Homecoming) would've been perfect if it wouldn't have been full of glitches

Homecoming is the only game that I've finished thus becoming my personal fave
