With only 1 spot away from the top five, T.I.'s "Dead And Gone" lands at the #06 of my 2009 list. A ballad combined with T.I.'s gift in rapping made this song one of my most addicted tracks during summer. Justin's presence here cannot be ignored as he deserves much credit for this single's success. The song is all about turning out a new leaf; that we want to startover again and this time, do it the right way. I'm sure many of us want to leave our dark past behind start anew. Never in my life would I think that T.I. would have a concept of this in his album

Opening the Top Five is Lady GaGa's "Paparazzi" single. I have to admit, of all her singles, this is the one I got tired of REALLY FAST but just as it almost fell in my c/d for retirement, it suddenly grew back on me with thanks to radio airplay exposure. The concept of the song is very well portrayed in the music video; that someone has to do something risky to gain fame and the paparazzi serve as a bridge connecting to fame. The setting, choreography, characters and the murder in the video just heightened the perfection of this single more!! This is not the last of Lady GaGa in my list  Papa-paparazzi...

I was only exposed to Kpop songs this 2009 and I have to say, it was definitely WORTH IT. Super Junior instantly became my favorite K-pop group after their single "It's You" and it's the BEST TRACK OF THEIR ALBUM IMHO. I only know of one Korean word and that's "Saranghae" which has an excellent meaning  Even without reading its English translation, you can easily identify the meaning of the song by the delivery of the 13 members. The song simply tries to say that the singer of the song, will never need anyone else but "you" whatever the circumstances may be. The music video of this song can NEVER be complete without their AMAZING dance moves which contributed even more to the power and meaning of the song. P.S. the ones in the cap are my favorite members of Super Junior (except the last one on the right lmao) LEFT TO RIGHT: Hangeng, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Siwon, and nvm lmao
