Everytime I see someone on ATRL sayying 'according to wiki', part of me is dying. Why would anyone take wiki as a reliable source? I can edit that , you can , literally everyone can edit that stuff. So why some people act like it's a Godly super reliable source ?
Any false changes are reverted in less than, like, 2 minutes, so.
I wouldn't use it in a research paper; It's ATRL though.
Well.. you shouldn't quote wiki as a source, but a professor at my university said it's ok to use information from wiki as long as you use the original source.
Wikipedia is the best site on the internet and it's highly accurate. Those who can't accept it are stuck in 2005.
actually, wikipedia isn't a bad source if you're just talking about internet stuff. the vast majority of pages have people with some knowledge watching them, so bad edits are reverted really quickly. wikipedia actually puts a lot of work into keeping people from messing things up.
but really if you want to be sure, you could just click on the link to the source the wiki used and get the information from there.
