Yes, that sounds like a justification. They're suggesting that the horrible comment was made because "Bernie Bros" got the worst out of him, and "poor thing". If not a justification, it's definitely a sympathy. And that comment should be condemned, if anything.

I have a very good history of calling out disrespectful comments that are consistently made against both the Senator and the Secretary, both from Bernie supporters and Hillary supporters. I'm not personally targeting DJ, it's just one case out of many.

And several people have gotten banned from here before, this isn't new. DJ isn't a victim, his comment was wrong.
