What do y'all have against artists with a gay niche?
"She's only relevant to the gays" "only the gays use her"
Why are these things usually percieved as negative to ATRLers? Are we going to just ignore that a lot of our pop culture has been pioneered by gays since the 80's? Even now gay culture is rapidly becoming the mainstream, so what's the issue with an artist having a gay niche?
How is that any different than saying "Artist X is local"? Just pointing out that a particular artist only appeals to a certain group of people, for the most part.
Many of the homosexuals on ATRL suffer from extreme internalized homophobia. Anything deemed too gay they immediately shut it down, drag it, or ignore it. It's really unfortunate that so many people hate themselves on here but it's their problem not mine.
