I bought XD: Gale of Darkness a while ago, just before I bought my WiiU; but never had the time to play it. But that's changing now. Just hooked up my old Wii, and I'm ready to play it through for the first time. (I've tried before on emulator but its too glitchy, so real game > )

Other than The Under, I can say main game Gale of Darkness > main game Colosseum. The latter beats it end-game wise though.

I prefer XD for three reasons
1) the pokemon selection
2) you don't have to save at the PC
3) you can rematch miror B for pokemon you miss. There was always like one I missed and couldn't rematch in Colosseum.

Staryu Can Turn That Cherry Out would've been a better pun for the title.

It's really good. My only problems with it now are the general stupid Gen III ones aka awful movesets (though some of the unique after-purification moves made up for it in some cases), and lack of Physical/Special split which is obviously the main issue I have when I have the urge to replay it.

Other than that it's a very cute game and one of my faves, imo! Both it and Colosseum are so nostalgic for me.

Like what were the creators even thinking? There was also this sudden level spike increase sometime during the game. Starting at level 24/25 with two evolved pokemon was kinda weird too. Other than that, not really much issues with it. Glad XD gave more variety.
