Did Bernie release his taxes yet?

Steve Kornacki ran the numbers today. Just counting the blue states from the past two GE, Hilary wins over Bernie, and her margin will only be wider after this month.

Hillary's plan is better but she does such a bad job of explaining it. In last night's debate she was so worried about not looking as progressive as Sanders on the issue that she didn't make the very valid point that not all states across the country can handle a steep increase in minimum wage the way places like NY and California can. I don't think anybody would deny NY and CA have a more robust economy with higher cost of living and so they are more suited to handle a %50+ increase in the minimum wage much more so than a lot of smaller states with much lower economic stability. She needs to make that argument instead of worrying about being to the left of Bernie

I agree. Last night, she really struggled to explain her position, which is why I think Bernie won that segment despite my sharp disagreement with his stance on it.

It's annoying because she has by far the best approach to this issue and if she put forward this argument effectively I'm sure most people would agree with her. But it's so much easier for Bernie because he can just say that she wants the federal minimum wage to be $3 less than him, which fits with his campaign narrative that she's against the working people. It's just another example of how his campaign has slogans, not real solutions that will work.

Federal minimum wage is $7.25 you can't just double it and then some. The Fight For $15 movement is honestly ridiculous. Having worked at Taco Bell for $7.65/hr there's no way it deserves $15/hr. I understand the have more/spend more ideology to stimulate the economy but doubling will not work out. Now if you have a 5 year plan to increase the federal minimum wage every year, that would sound great, which is why I tend to lean towards Hillary's plan of $12.

I understand it's not easy because Bernie pretty much has the populous position but people can understand and appreciate pragmatism especially if you explain it to them very clearly....I think it would play much better than the answer she gave yesterday

She explains it well. The problem is that she doesn't know how to dumb it down for regular folks who just cares about benefits and not the explanations.

She's has in the past but she didn't explain it well last night. In fact, she didn't even explain it until the 3rd time she was pressed on it.

Re: Min. Wage I definitely like Hillary position better. I always felt $15 seems really ridiculous no matter who it came from. They want to pay me $15 an hour for a job that could honestly pay several dollars below the min. wage

$15 minimum wage is fine and it's not like it's implemented overnight.

She didn't lay into him that hard but I agree. Even if she plays with kid gloves against him, his rhetoric makes them hate her so much I'm not sure if a lot of that can be undone.
