A user on this website, ReDefined, claims to have exclusive informationa and says that her uncle masters music with Tricky Stewart. Here is what she said:

-They're working on releasing a new album or a 're-release' come Summer 2010.
-By May 2010 we will have had 3 new singles released from Rated R (Rude Boy included).
- Upon release of new material and media promo, she will headline a tour in North America and than again Europe (UK included).
...New album or re-release. One or the other, I'm sure of it! New music from Rihanna this summer! Def Jam wants her to do a pop rock dance album full of bonafide hits: and mesh it with Rated R in retail."
3 new singles meaning RR, Hard, and Rude Boy or 3 more excluding RR and Hard but including Rude Boy???

It would make more sense if it included RR and Hard, but they said 3 NEW singles, including Rude Boy, yet they didn't mention RR or Hard so I'm not sure
Mmm I read it the other day and I think I believe it. I'm thinking it will work in a similar way to TFM Deluxe & EP so it's both a rerelease and a new album.

Yeah I feel the same way, but I'm not sure how reliable the user is. They have posted information in the past and currently I didn't see a single comment doubting her, everyone believed it.
Rude Boy could be the last all-format single... then they could release two singles at the same time around april to different formats, so it sounds plausible... then a new album/re-release in late summer?
I thought Rihanna said that she didn't want to do a re-release and just wanted to quickly move on to a brand new studio album? Although I like the similar concept of TFM.
I'm excited for this I'm patiently waiting for the North American tour, and if it's going to be this summer like the person said then she'll be performing her new songs, that will definitely be worth the wait.
