Ugh, even though I don't trust Hillary - I gotta admit, I don't think any of them actually lost last night. Hillary did a good job of defending her campaign aims and marketing, so to speak, those aims to New York specifically. However, Bernie did introduce a more aggressive slant to his campaign (which is good because though people were put off by it, his prior debates showed him as more of a loudmouth than an aggressor and he needed to show that) and he also kept up with Hillary's attacks towards his campaign while also bringing up some very good sources of contention within her campaign.
As far as what it will do for the campaigns - I think despite what either of them want to say, the race to the White House for both of them is closer than people are willing to admit on either side. This is definitely the time for them to both start pulling out the punches and I think they both showed that they are doing that now, while maintaining a modicum of restrained respect for each other personally. I wouldn't be surprised if it brought the race of New York closer, and either way it goes, I wouldn't be 100% surprised with whoever won.
