When you finally decide you want children, are you going to adopt or get a surrogate mother?

Hmm... If I were to have children, that's something I'm still unsure about, I wouldn't mind either way.

It'll depend on the situation at hand, I don't want to rule out either one, however I think a surrogate would be something I'm leaning more to, then again like I said, adopting would be no problem for me either. (In the future)

I feel like it would be better to adopt considering there are children out there already who I would be able to have the opportunity to make their life better. Idk whether I'd actually want kids though

1.) I have a vagina and a properly working uterus.
2.) Children suck, so none of the above.

I'm considering all three options tbh.

Surrogate. If I want a child, it should be mine. Not someone else's.

I always planned on adopting a baby, but I saw this documentary where these two guys adopted these brothers and sisters that were in foster care so that they could stay together. I'm leaning toward doing something like that.

Adopt. I would get too jealous knowing my baby is only one half of our relationship and lots of kids out there need loving parents

But I am curious to see how my genetic kids would look like so idk...imay have a mix of both surrogate and adopted kids.

One of my old professors was gay and had a child biologically because "it makes it harder to lose custody." I can understand that. Like, what if you try to adopt a kid but then the biological parent shows up and fights it because you're gay? What if the adoption agency won't even meet with you because you're gay? What if the GOP pass some new law prohibiting us from adopting kids?


Surrogacy is expensive, though, and you have to navigate the entire question of whether or not the birth mother will be involved in the child's life, how involved, etc.

I don't even think I want kids but I know for damn sure no baby is coming out of my vagina. If I did get the motherly urge it would be through adoption, or if I had a female partner, she can get knocked up by a sperm donor. but it ain't gonna be me pushing out no baby

there are adoption agencies that specifically cater towards LGBT+ parents/families to make it easier for them to get a child just FYI
