The thing about Taylor taking a break and not working on anything for a while is that for her, I'm pretty sure writing songs and even going to recording studios for fun is a thing. (I mean, Jack has a little recording studio in his home). So she could very well end up having more than a dozen songs worthy of being released after a couple of months, without really spending an entire month non stop in the studio to record.
Honestly, maybe I'm too optimistic, but if she hasn't released her first single yet in October, I'll probably be expecting some surprise album tbh (or her biggest hits album on the 10th year anniversary of her first album)

She could do that with a few of the songs (Tim McGraw, Our Song...) if she plans on releasing those on a biggest hit album

I think this break will be different because when she had her other breaks, she had to be literally NON-EXISTENT for 9 months so she could build hype for the new era, now that she has more than that, probably a year and a half or even more, she will still attend events, cover magazines because she has more time to build the hype and also she needs to not disappear for almost two years, that could hurt her a bit, so she'll be taking a break but not like her others, low-key but not disappearing like the others.
