Can ATRL please stop misusing this word? Every time I see someone on here say it in a way that implies "urban" people are black, I cringe. Reminds me of the word "ghetto"
Yeah but urban is primarily made up of rap and r&b, two predominately black musical genres. That doesn't mean only black people make urban music, or only black people listen to urban music though.
It's not just ATRL that uses urban and black synonymously; almost every form of mainstream media does. Everybody knows the textbook definition so what is your point?

What scalp exactly? None of the singers in my signature have made strictly urban music. They make pop, sometimes remotely urban-influenced, thus making it enjoyable for my ears.
