A few people at Bernie's rally called her a murderer and a wh**e (sexist and very nasty/negative). Bernie didn't say anything or do anything to remind his supporters that those words are never okay to describe the former Secretary. So his inaction is the problem here as he should have done something in that case

I was, like, 4 years old and, contrary to popular belief, the US isn't the center of the world so we don't learn about y'alls secretaries of state in school.

Bernie is at fault for those statements, not only because he hasn't apologized for them yet, but also, as others have pointed out, he himself has said the candidate is responsible for what is said/what goes on at their rallies. He himself invited these people to speak at a high profile rally of his, apparently wasn't competent enough to instruct his staffers to check their speeches beforehand, listened to those speeches, and then went ahead and thanked them for their words without a single apology or clarification. Bernie is absolutely complicit in this.
