good for you if you want to be a vegetarian or vegan, but I'm not a bad person for eating meat / drinking milk / putting honey on things sometimes. I'm a bad person for other reasons.

1. animals not having souls is debateable (actually, there are several different meanings "soul" could have anyway). but if we're going by the way of being affected by it, animals do feel pain and they have some level of emotion too (not to the complicated extent that humans do, but basic emotions), so empathy can still be applied to them. i'm not sure if that means you should be a vegan, but it does mean you can't brush off this issue so easily
2. there's nothing wrong with having honey. beekeepers that raise their bees properly aren't harming bees at all; in fact, they're actually increasing the likelihood of them surviving by protecting them, which keeps the species going and could be all we have if the colony collapse problem keeps getting worse.
