the whole ibiza club edm of 2011/2012 was so ****ing cheap and annoying to me (pound the alarm, right now, good feeling, etc).

and I honestly hated that whole like "crunk" lil jon/usher(yeah)/youngbloodz sound of the earl/mid 00's. every one of those songs had a certain sound in it and idk what its called but i hated it.

all EDM is is electronic dance music.
trap is electronic.
trap can be danceable.

EDM is like calling a song pop. its so vague. its just an umbrella term.
people just associate the term edm with like rave or club music purely because of how rave culture rose to popularity back when.
