It's so sad.

It's sad that Apple is pretty much a digital music monopoly. If zunes became as popular as iPods, then there would be some real competition in the digital music world. iTunes would have to fight to keep their customers by lowering their prices back to 0.99.
I also hope that physical albums aren't nonexistent by 2016. That's ridiculous. I can understand reducing the number shipped over time, but for them to be gone for good? I just don't see that happening.
It's the millions of cherrypickers like me that forced this to happen, but it's time for a music sales revolution. We need to be creative to find a way to boom the sales back up. I actually like most of the music out right now and have few complaints. I don't see why the music industry is failing, besides the fact of the digital age and the recession. (Which will help the industry once the economy gets better. More spending, higher music sales.)
