Discussion: Beyoncé, only black female to sell multiplatinum

2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016

Not since Alicia Key's "As I Am" has a black female (besides Beyoncé) gone multiplatinum.

Is there some sort of racism going on here?

Because Bey sells albums, and just not quick lil singles. Queen of artistic improvement, and not having to rely on top 40 to stay relevant, or even sell tickets for her stadium world tour over a decade after her solo debut.

Pink Friday is 3x Platinum with streams but it was crossed 2,000,000 in pure sales as well.
