The human remains discovered Saturday in a Seattle homeowner’s recycling bin belong to a 40-year-old mother of three girls who vanished after going on a date with a man she met online, police say.
Cops identified the victim as Ingrid Lyne, a nurse from Renton who vanished Friday after a scheduled date at the Seattle Mariners’ home opener, the Seattle Times reported.
John Robert Charlton, 37, was arrested in connection to the slaying.
Authorities were able to identify Lyne because one of the body parts discovered in the Central District receptacle was a head, a law enforcement source told the Times.
