Ariana's music may not alway be huge, but there's more to it then sales (which she doesn't even fare that badly in). She's easily one of the more talked about pop stars in the media.

I was actually becoming a fan of her last year, but there's something huge she's lacking. And I think people in general saw that too.
She's extremely talented, but you get bored of her after a few plays, she doesn't have that super star aura that even Katy Perry has.
Meghan is being managed in a better way than Ariana too, but she also lacks that superstar aura.
There needs to be someone that completely rocks the industry like Gaga did when she first came out. People like Meghan or Ari had much softer, less impactful debuts. Where are the superstars?
