Um no there's no coincidences in science
It's called ADAPTATION which is a part of evolution. Your conscious mind isn't the only intelligent thing about you (assuming you're already intelligent), but as well as every cell in your body. Your cells/tissues/organs know exactly what they're doing.
There was a very specific set of environmental factors that contributed to our appearance and unless the other lifeform went through the exact same things..
