It didn't necessarily NOT go viral either. He got a lot of flack for it and it was covered all over the media.
But of course word of mouth online wasn't spreading it because Bernie has them mostly on his side. They were banking on people not paying attention to it and using diversionary tactics!

Are they a messy website?
Regardless, the interview is what's important

Even Vermont’s own Gov. Peter Shumlin, an outspoken Clinton supporter, responded to Hillary’s whopper, “You’d have a hard time convincing Vermonters that New York’s crime problems are coming from Vermont.”
“She knows it’s not true. It’s 0.7 percent of crime guns in New York that are traced back to Vermont,” said Eddie Garcia, founder of the Vermont Citizens Defense League.

WAIT. Hillary was dropping tea on Vermont trafficking guns to the northeast region of the country. I had no idea; here I thought she was doing the most, but nope. She was dropping truth bombs
Stats provided by Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) in 2014.
Looks like Vermont has been the leader of gun exports in the Northeast with New Hampshire not that far behind.

Exporting guns in trade for import of heroin, feeding and enabling into their drug addiction problem. WOW.

Well, Bernie also hasn't released his full tax returns either but no one seems to care about that.
Imagine if Clinton did the same.

Partaking in political discussion and excercise, no matter the inevitability of a certain candidate winning, is a good thing! I highly encourage it because regardless it's important to build these views and nothing builds a personal view than through discussion and debate.

The more time passes, the more I feel a bit more comfortable with him being president. Clearly I prefer Clinton no question, but it's not so bad if you like...squint your eyes and overlook some things like national security, the deficit, and America as a global power (among a few other things).

Unless I'm reading that first link wrong, only 41 guns have gone from VT to NY. More guns have went from NY to Florida (66)
And the second link just talks about the possiblity of it, when the stats show that it's not really a problem.

I know, it's just the same arguments with the same people acting as if Bernie is going to get the nomination. I'd much rather discuss who HRC potential opponent is going to be. #TeamTrump

It obviously is not Hillary's responsibility to let the Sanders team know about the extra delegate... I never implied that.
It's obviously the DNC's fault... I just wonder why they'd tell her FIRST and wait 5 weeks until they told Bernie.
And yeah, y'all can say its a measly 1 delegate, but in a race where these delegates matter, it's an important 1 delegate.

It totally did go viral. It was all over Facebook and Twitter.
What SHOULD'VE went viral was the NY Times (a more credible news source) fact checking that Daily News article.
The media bias is real.

The study found that 23.5 guns per 100,000 Vermont residents — 147 total — were recovered in crimes committed outside the state. New Hampshire, at 22.3 guns per 100,000 residents, has the second-highest gun export rate of the six New England states; Massachusetts has the lowest rate, at 3.7 guns per 100,000 residents, the study found. The national average is 15.2 guns per 100,000 people, the ATF report said.

“Vermonters think of Vermont being a leader of other states,” Braden said. “The system is as strong as the weakest link and right now, we are the weakest link. We’re not being the good neighbor we should be.”
Between 2012 and 2013, the incidents of Vermont guns recovered at crime scenes in New York and Massachusetts increased by more than 48 percent, according to the report. Because only a small percentage of crime-related guns are traced, Braden said, these numbers represent just a fraction of the total flow of illegal guns.

Vermont’s export of guns is neatly paired with its imports of heroin. “ATF offices in Vermont and Springfield, Mass., have consistently seen guns originating in Vermont used as currency in the interstate drug trade,” Massachusetts ATF Agent Debora Seifert told the Boston Globe in April 2014.
“It’s not so much just firearms trafficking to make a profit [off the guns themselves],” Vermont ATF Agent Jim Mostyn told Vermont Public Radio in 2014. “What we’re seeing is the narcotics for the guns. Most of the firearms trafficking, if not all, has a nexus to narcotics.”

Or like the myriad gun buyers wanting to avoid federally licensed shops, they can travel from states like New York or Massachusetts (with stricter-than-federal regs) to those where restrictions are virtually nonexistent. “When dealing with firearms trafficking, it’s ‘source’ versus ‘market’ states,” says ATF Agent Arone. “The source areas and their non-restrictive firearm laws make the purchasing of firearms easier versus more restrictive states. It’s as simple as that.”

Bernie wouldn't be a bad president. 2018 midterms would be another mess since his coalition probably won't turnout to vote.
