Edit: ok, let me talk abt my tragic crush story, so i could feel better abt it.

So i met this guy on the train to attend some sort of festival. Since he was going alone, he ended up hanging out with me and my friends at the festival. We went to have dinner together, he ordered the foods and insisted he pay which he did. The following days, he began to hangout with us like we are some close friends. It was weird for me cuz he was being extremely nice and kind. He didnt seem straight at all. Welp, I kinda thought he liked me. My friends thought the same thing. But we played truth or dare today, turned out he has a crush on my female bestfriend

This won't last long.

I'm not out yet and sometimes I'm ashamed of myself.

before you found out he has a crush on your bestfriend, did you notice him seeming like he was into her at all?? maybe he is just shy and trying to divert his feelings because he is afraid?

i honestly never wished i was a straight guy tbh.. i feel like i was always destined to be gay, i think even if i was born a woman i would probably be a lesbian either way. there is just something about hetero relationships and sex that turns me off tbh..

Not really, tbh. I mean, he is a super outgoing guy so he talked to like everybody, maybe i mistook that (shame on me). But all my friends think he is gay and that hes into me , which i was stupid enough to think he is, i kinda like him, but well, he confessed to my bestfriend today.

And the thing is, my bestfriend is lesbian

maybe you are right.. i feel like us gays always tend to overlook the actions of straight guys because we always have this expectation that straight guys will never be friendly with gays so we tend to think a certain person has to have ulterior motives whenever they try to be friendly with us, and that is not always the case, maybe that was thing with you and your friend

I kinda feel bad for him tbh. He seems like a really nice fellow. The thing is, I keep having crushes on straight guys, and they always ended up liking my female bestfriends, its annoying.
