Update: Got the game yesterday and it's honestly such a refreshing game to play, it's not like any other game I've played before (before anyone says Pokemon, the only similarity I find is that there is a range of collectible 'monsters')

Can't wait for the rest of the world to get their hands on this

Got this game for Christmas and I'm playing it now.

Okay I beat the final boss. I'll do postgame stuff later. My team was:
Mircle
Ratatelle
Rhyth
Casanuva
Casanono
Frostail (I was gonna use Alhail but talent won with my 5 star coin)

I hate hate hate hate hate the befriending system though. Took me about an hour for Cupistol, 30 minutes for Rhyth, 3 hours for Casanono, and 2 hours for Ratatelle. Yokai what's good? And the latter 2 were WITH popularity.

Nintendo of Europe what's good?

I came across the anime for this while flipping the channels the other day and the English dub actors are so tragic.

It seems like it has potential as a franchise, though.

You know what, you can keep this game. If your portable system is dying and nobody is developing **** for it it's your problem, there's no need to delay the game when it's already translated and all of that because you don't have anything else to launch in 2016. Looks like we will have to wait until Q3 to get it, so meanwhile NoE can get everyone of them a copy of the game and shove them down their throats.

I hope everyone who got to play the game liked it. The sequels will FLOP in here because they will release them next year in the states and who knows when in Europe, if they ever come. Who cares about 3DS at this point? What a way to treat some of the only third party developers that care about your ass in the industry. I don't think the Yo-Kai games were actually that good, they were just different and a breathe of fresh air into monster JRPGS, but now I honestly don't care. I'll play it when it comes if I feel like paying for it, but I hope they choke on all the games ready to launch that they are sitting on to extend the 3DS' lifetime.

Viz Media has confirmed that the anime is airing in European countries in Spring 2016 and some retailers are already listing the game for an April/May release. Unless they are putting a November 21th ANTi on us, this is it, the game is finally coming

Chill. In America they only did an English and French translation, completely payin dust to the rest of the countries
They have to make multiple translations for europe, not only for the game but for the anime and merchandise, since some country won't sell the game without a translation.

EU has a release date, April 29th

I'm glad the two people that still care about this can play the game on April. I will wait until I see it on the bargain bin, thanks for supporting the franchise in here Nintendo!

Nintendo are the pits, why can other companies localise their games in an acceptable time period yet they release theirs after an ungodly amount of time without fail i mean??

They just added the languages from the PAL version. At least you all got the game, if I had to wait all these year to play the game in latin american spanish tho... lol

There's a Nintendo Direct presentation tonight and Yokai Watch is confirmed to be featured in the european one. People are speculating that YW2 could get announced too for NA because of some leaked schedule. But nobody cares anymore, so I don't know why I keep posting about this game.

Demo available for the European gays in a few minutes. The European box art is a ****ing mess, I didn't prostitute myself to promo this game in this forum and beyond to get this treatment, Nintendo.

So I played the European demo today and I loved it. I was going to ask if the game was more story oriented or more like Pokémon where the main focus is the training of your team but I've just read the OP.

Looking forward to snatch a copy.
